In this article, we outline the elements of the innovation management framework implemented at Innotech, which was introduced earlier at Innovation Management Framework- Introduction.
Innotech innovation management framework model includes 3 main layers:
- Macro layer
- Operational layer
- Support layer
The macro layer of the innovation management system
determines the general framework and decision-making activities related to innovation. In this layer, two general concepts, including leadership and the portfolio of innovation priorities, are specified, and its executive mechanisms are designed according to the company’s conditions.
The operational layer of innovation management
deals with executive activities and the implementation of innovation programs. In this section, the requirements for cooperation in the field of innovation are specified, and the capabilities required for the implementation of programs are determined. Also, the processes of evaluation and utilization of the outputs of innovation programs are specified in this section.
The innovation management support layer
deals with the activities of promoting innovation in the company and providing innovation management tools to empower people in the organization in line with innovation goals.
